SNAPfeed 3.0:

It's even easier for broadcasters to send video back to the newsroom from a standard laptop computer with the latest version of SNAPfeed.

Provided as part of ENPS, the enhanced user interface of SNAPfeed 3.0 guides journalists through a straightforward, non-technical, four step process to encode and transmit their video. No matter where you are, if you have a connection to your company’s network, via telephone line, ISDN, DSL, cable modem, even Inmarsat link, SNAPfeed gets the video delivered on time and removes the technical distractions.

Thanks to a patent-pending technology, a field journalist only needs to enter their deadline time. SNAPfeed has built-in intelligence-- smart enough to determine the type of connection the laptop has to the station, smart enough to know that the video file ready to be sent, and smart enough to know how to get it delivered on time and as efficiently as possible.

SNAPfeed with ENPS will quickly become an indispensable tool in any newsroom.
Constant status updates in ENPS during feed transmission.
Media is immediately available in ENPS for production.
During transmission, field journalists have access to all features of ENPS.

SNAPfeed works with the following formats:

  • WMV-9

  • Native DV-25

SNAPfeed also makes it easy for your technical staff. All of the necessary components are “off-the-shelf” using standard hardware and Microsoft Windows. In addition, SNAPfeed is easy to install, learn, and use.
